Insurance for aircraft owners and pilots is different from most other types of insurance. Yet we get very little education on these vital parts of owning and flying airplanes. In this presentation former aircraft insurance account executive and underwriter Tom Turner will cover:

• The three parts of aircraft insurance coverage and how they work

• The differences between insurance agents, brokers and underwriters

• Insurance aspects of flying other people’s airplanes, and letting others fly yours

• A quick insurance primer for flight instructors
